What they forget is that meditation works wonders when combined with a healthy and active body. You can feel depressed and stressed and may suffer from insomnia due to drug dependency or may be because of withdrawal from drugs. Excessive caffeine can also lead to stress. Hence, if you are serious about stress reduction then make sure that you don’t abuse drugs. Eat the right group of foods and try getting adequate nutrition. Try stretching your limbs as it helps in relieving tension and keeps your body responsive and supple. It also helps you sit quietly while feeling comfortable and alive.
